My C7 hub has turned the Zigbee radio off twice recently. "ZigBee network is not online" is the message and of course all kinds of things fail. Is this a sign of impending hub hardware failure? Should I be worried? I pulled the power for a minute and rebooted and it came up ok. But the feeling of doom is there.
You should always be worried when a radio goes offline. That means the radio encountered a critical error and had to shut down. Most common root causes are radio/hub overload or a hardware malfunction. Radio/hub overload can be avoided by minimizing the events generated by devices. Hardware malfunction requires hub replacement. If you'd like, I can take a look at your hub's engineering log to see if I can determine why the radio might have gone offline. Please send me a PM with your hub's MAC address.
