Zigbee Mesh healing

I have an Iris motion sensor and was having a hard time getting it to work due to mesh. I know it was a mesh issue because it was working fine when bringing it closer to the hub.
Placed it back to the location with the issue. only 15 feet away from the hub but due to the brick fireplace between the hub and the sensor hence the issue. I paired a zigbee outlet to solve this problem.
Turned off the hub for about 25 mins and plugged back on hoping for a mesh heal. battery removed on the sensor. That didn't work.
I then removed the sensor from Hubitat and reset the sensor. Paired it at the issue location and it's now working. This tells me the healing is not working. Is there a Zigbee or z-wave mesh map we can look at? I know ST have them but it was a pain to request them and they usually don't give it out unless you have issue.

I canโ€™t answer your question about mapping but Iโ€™d like to understand your heal process. Did you have the battery removed from the sensor while your hub was off power? It is my understanding the devices need to have power while healing.

The battery for the sensor was not removed when the hub was off. I removed it after the hub was back on for about 30 mins and the healing was not working. I cant imagine the healing would take that long since I added only 30 devices so far and half are z-wave.

Ok, I understand now. Thank you.

How long did you wait? I usually recommend that people wait until the next day before testing regardless of the hub being used, as sometimes it can just take a while to propagate the changes.

I saw that one hubitat owner changed the zigbee channel and it took about three hours for the changes to propagate to all the devices. A heal would be a similar process.

If that's the case then it's possible that's my problem. I am sure I will have many more chances to test this again since I moved only around a quarter of my devices over so far.
