Zigbee Experts- Why would Iris 4 button keyfob, send over 200 messages/hour

I have an Iris Keyfob (3450-L2) paired to my C7 about 2 weeks ago. It was previously paired to "Grampa C4". Device works fine and I hit configure repeatedly. It is sitting unused, presence turned off, but is sending thousands of repeat messages(2 types). Will this kill my costly CR2450 battery ?!

There are thousands of these 2 messages in the zigbee logs. The device page logs look normal.

Which Driver (Device Type) is it using?

These are setup as presence sensors so they will produce a payload every 20 seconds or so.

Thanks Mike, It was producing almost 12 per second, even with presence off. I then set presence to 15 minutes, hit configure 3x, now it's down to 3 or 4 per second. It half killed a brand new battery from last week.

that's the diagnostics cluster, our driver doesn't use and or configure that.
were you using a different driver with this device at some point?

no sir. Never had any need to, as your built in driver works perfect. I even tried factory reset(without removing) and re-joining to hopefully change something at initialization of the re-pair

any other zigbee network changes?, new devices, removed devices, unplugged devices?

no Not recently. Although not sure when the keyfob started freaking out.
I can transfer it to my Dev C7 with only a single Inovelli bulb on it.
Would that help to R/O issues?

don't know for sure, but it can't hurt!

So I tried, but even on a new C7 with only 1 Inovelli bulb and just the keyfob, The keyfob keeps "calling home", like my daughter at her 1st year living away at college, but she didn't call every second..it was close tho

Tried on ST, had to use custom DH. I don't see those messages, but not sure if ST even displays that level of messages

Today, unpaired from ST and back to HE. I noticed under state variables the "null" was missing and there was only 4 state variables, and the number of messages is decreased. However when I changed the settings on the presence timeout to 15 minutes, the 5th variable labelled "null" popped up.
