I got this device on AliExpress
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuHtH9b from aliexpress and I'm having problems to make it work properly. I get it connected in the app and set the limit and works fine but when I try to connect on hubitat both motors goes on same direction at the same which they suppose to be going rêver from each other. Try few drivers and no luck with any yet just wondering if there's anything that can be done to fix that?
I recently bought the Zemismart curtain motor, I had to use the supplied remote to reverse the direction of one of the motors. It explained it in the instruction manual in typical pigeon English.
I can actually get the motor to run both ways. My main problem is that they suppose to be running in opposite direction as let's say the right to the left or right and the left as the opposite so they can open and close but instead if I try to open them they both run onto the ae direction meaning one it's opening and the other closing.
Also, how did you mange to pair the remote? Didn't come with any instructions for it.
I did that as well. It does change the direction but still both of them goes to the same direction. I've removed the device and installed just on the app and there works perfectly
What do you mean by 'app' - the Hubitat custom driver, or the Tuya Smart Life app?
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant the tuya app. I'm able to connect it there and work they way it suppose to work with each motor going to different directions meaning opening ing and closing properly but when I have over hubitat the the thing about both motors going same direction happens. That's where's basically I have one opening the curtain and the other one closing it
When paired to your HE hub, can you post the Zigbee model and manufacturer? See this GitHub WiKi page for an example.
This is a new Tuya device , and it is not fully supported by the 'ZemiSmart Zigbee Blind' community driver. The Tuya 'Data Points' matches only partially with the other Tuya blinds/motors. Information for this device support in Z2M is available here and here.
Does the Smart Life app show also illuminance and temperature readings?
