changed my zigbee channel from 18 to 20 ... been ~20 hours none of the devices seem to have connected back ... both powered and battery ones. tried powering off and on each of them ... hitting configure and refresh ... nothing seems to help.
any ideas?
thanks
over 22 hours now none of the devices have reconnected including the powered devices.
@mike.maxwell anything that i could try to get these connected back? without resetting and discovering each of them that is.
thank you.
Are these the xiaomi devices you are playing with?
You can try force the zigbee mesh to heal. Turn off the hub for about 30 mins. They will panic and start rebuilding the mesh. Then turn it back on and see.
not xiaomi ... these are regular everyday zigbee devices that i had moved to hubitat and been using for the last few weeks ... samsung, lightify, sengled, zooz and visonic.
will try.
thank you.
no luck. none of the devices have connected back.
I had trouble with my devices, specifically GE Link Bulbs, after a channel change. I factory reset the bulbs, and other devices, then ran a discovery and was able to reconnect to them on the new channel. Hubitat associated all of the devices correctly to the original devices.
I also had to reset my zigbee devices after I changed the channel.
@Navat604 changed his channel a few times. Maybe he can confirm anything else he did.
I changed my zigbee channel last week. No need to delete any devices.
- set to new channel and then rebooted hub
- setup two tabs in Chrome...One for the zigbee log and the other I set to 'Discover Devices'
- Once I hit 'discover devices' I switched to the zigbee log tab
- Simply went around to each device and put them into pair mode
- watch the zigbee log to see when it has been rediscovered.
- move on to the next device
Took about 30 minutes to setup 18 devices.
Hope this helps.
@Christopher @Userunnown @ritchierich had to go the reset and rediscover path.
kind of painful ... zigbee channel change shouldnt require re-pairing the device.
hopefully @Hubitat will work some magic so this isnt required

For most zigbee devices a reset is the same as putting it into pairing mode.
I did what @bptworld and @Christopher did when changing channels.
Physical reset of devices and putting hub into discovery mode (but don’t delete devices in the hub GUI).
That’s the quickest way I could come up with.
yeah most of us seem to be going the reset then discover path ... shouldnt need to though.
