This has happened more than once to me, and I believe with different ZEN15s. The older ZEN15 (not LR) with firmware 1.6 and using the built-in Zooz Power Switch driver.
I will notice that an automation isn't triggering, and upon investigation, I discover that all the device preferences have been reset to default, or more specifically, no power/energy/voltage reporting at all. I set the desired power/energy/voltage reporting levels, and Configure. All is well again .. for a while. Maybe a week or two and then this happens again.
I see you are enrolled in beta. If you're running a beta platform version, there were some UI glitches you can read about in the appropriate forum category that would explain an issue with the display of your previous selections and the ability to save new selections. If you were current as of your writing, those should have been addressed. If not, there isn't any reason these should have changed unless new ConfigurationReports came in, which debug logging would show (disables itself after 30 minutes by default but you can delete the job to do this from Logs > Scheduled Jobs).
I realize we must tread carefully in this thread, but I would say I wasn't thinking beta issue. It isn't just a display issue. The preferences on the device indeed get changed and pushed to the device. I first experienced this several months ago, in fact, when I noticed my sump pump had ostensibly not run at all in six months. In fact, I knew it had and then checked the reporting preferences and found them all cleared.
Similar has happened on another ZEN15 since multiple times. Seems a driver issue is more likely. I might try @jtp10181 driver.
