ZCOMBO Not Logging CO Testing

My new ZCOMBO smoke/co detector logs smoke testing but not CO.
The detector does beep 4 times, twice, along with the blinking CO light.
However, nothing seems to be sent to the hub.

I want to set off a siren, like the smokes, but I can't since no message is getting through.

Any ideas?

Perhaps rather than worrying about the Info logs the driver records, what Events are recorded for the Device? Those are what will / can drive automations, including notifications of CO levels.

I thought I'd try the non-plus driver, and it shows smoke and co tested, and smoke cleared, but not co.

I expect you may need to be more specific on the driver selection.... What driver did you select with the notes on the original post compared to the last post? I.e. can you provide a screenshot of the driver selection.

Also, similar to my last post, Info logs are one thing, Events are what count in the end...

This is still the most relevant question but hasn’t been answered yet.

Device events are not viewed from the same page as the hub logs. Go to the device page, then, click the events button at the top of the page.

Hubitat chose Generic ZWave Plus Smoke/CO driver when included.
That driver does not provide any CO status.

I chose Generic ZWave Smoke/CO driver.
That driver provided CO tested status but not CO cleared status.

I think it's a driver issue.

The hub selected the appropriate driver for a ZCOMBO since it is a z-wave plus smoke/CO detector.

There could be an issue with the driver, but without confirming what is (or is not) showing up in the device events (not logs), it’s hard to say with more certainty.

Here ya go.
Same as logs.

I just tried assigning the Device driver, clear everything out.
Did not work.
Plus driver still not reporting CO tested.
Will try excluding and re-including next.

It would be better to provide a screenshot of the driver selected, or at least the full name of the two drivers being compared... unless you are and I am not picking that up from your comments.

Separate to the driver selection... From your screenshots of the Events page, that does confirm what I was thinking that no events are being recorded. As for your question / hope about others having ideas... I'm struggling, but who knows... you may find some....

@mike.maxwell or @bcopeland the OP is using a new first alert ZCOMBO with the generic z-wave plus smoke/co detector driver.

Does the driver support CO test and clear events when the test button is pushed on the device?

I just excluded, reset, re-included the device.
No change.
I think it's a driver problem.

I could also be misunderstanding the question

I think @bcopeland is the Z-Wave device guy.

Do you have one of these you could test?

Not anymore, but I used to and I do vaguely recall behavior similar to what you’re seeing.

I might add that this is a new one with a mfg date of 6/29/23.

Could any other owners of a ZCOMBO be so kind as to verify this behavior?
