My z-wave failed months ago. I have not had time or energy to look at it! I had a stroke/seizure last june, My wife was diagnosed with cancer in september. and been let go of my government tech position (thanks to trump) at age 62! has the hardware failed? I've done updates. reset z-wave etc... is there any way to fix this? or should i just replace the switches that no longer work with regular switches?
I'm sorry to hear of your misfortunes, and I hope your wife recovers fully. Could you provide some more details to clarify the situation:
- Type of hub and platform version
- Whether all z-wave devices are non-responsive, or only a subset?
- A screenshot of your z-wave settings page.
- The brand/model of the z-wave devices that have failed.

C8 -

Unresponsive in zwave status. no zwave devices work or are lists -

UI will not allow me to upload image... nothing listed for devices, radio set to US-LR -
The brand/model of the z-wave devices that have failed.
Zooz
Have you tried to shutdown the hub, pull power at wall, wait 30 seconds for Zwave and Zigbee to reset (must remove power to reset them), power hub back up.
Thatβs the best thing to try first.
Use Windows Snip, not the UI. Post your z-wave details page in it's entirety.
Have you shut down the hub and unplugged it for a full minute?
well ummm, I thought I had power cycled it! Even with me resetting zwave when broken the switches are now visible in UI now. THANK YOU!!
do you know how to get Zooz n-way to work? they are wired correctly but the slave switches don't work (just flash and turn off) and Zooz switch stop working after awhile!! turning off/on breaker fixes switch
Get the install PDF for your device and double check the wiring. Make sure they work independent of Hubitat.
Be careful, Zooz has changed the wiring with just about every major version.
