You have any practical experience hitting the rest button on the zwave radio? It doesn't remove any other config outside of zwave?
It will remove all the zwave devices but it will also break your rules which is why you reset the hub after. I'd manually exclude all the devices you can first though.
Ok, thanks i've only started migrating my z-wave devices so not many rules to edit out any dependencies. I have a pretty big set of zigbee and lan integrations and wouldn't want to reset any of that atm.
Aha! I think you have helped me locate the root cause of the zwave problem. I have a number of zwave inserts philio pan04 which constantly report energy levels. Looking at the zwave logs they seem very chatty and now disabling them the whole mesh has calmed down!
I will try and re-pair these as I've seen others report use then and not reporting issues. But from the looks of things these two devices were congesting the mesh network to such an extent it was causing everything else to stop working.
