I've had issues with some of my z-wave devices for the last couple weeks and finally looked and most of my mesh was just borked. Most devices had no speed info, etc.

Shut down my hub and powered off for 5 minutes, powered up, and things are working again. But this is the second time I think this has happened, and I believe last time I did a DB restore. But now I'm curious if others are seeing this and what I might need to do... =/ I am on 2.3.3, and have the 7.17.1 zwave firmware.

Send me a private message, I'd like to check to make sure you are not dealing with a hardware or database issue. Restoring a backup shouldn't resolve issues with Z-Wave (unless you restored a cloud backup) as the radio is a separate database than hub database.
