Found this from First Alert, Kidde might have something similar. It is sort of vauge but I am reading it that it can interconnect to hard wired and also wireless, so if you had one of these hardwired you could then add some wireless ones to the same network. It does have the same 3-pin connection on the back as mine which is for the interconnect hardwire harness it comes with.
