I am trying to exclude some z-wave devices to replace them, but when I go to the z-wave page (http://hubIP/hub/zwaveInfo) and press the button there is no visual indication that you've activated the function.
I was able to prove the button works by opening the live log view in another window. I can see there that exclude mode is active, and pressing the button on my device successfully excluded it but would be much better if you could see the function was active.

I've added the "Feature Request" tag to your post since this isn't really a bug--just the way it's always worked since the beginning, or at least as far as I can remember. Keeping "Logs" open is a good idea in this case--but I do agree that would good if they could add something to the window directly!
In the meantime, Devices > Add Device > Z-Wave > Start Z-Wave Exclusion will give you the friendly display in the UI that you are looking for. This has been there for a while, though not since the very beginning. In the latest hub firmware update, the "Z-Wave" button I refer to did move slightly now that they have the wizard-like "Find by..." methods to add a device at the top of the page (so just look a bit farther down under "Add device manually") , but it's otherwise pretty similar.
Thank you both. I have to admit I did not think about going to "Add Device" in order to remove a device. That's not a particularly intuitive journey (to me).
