Z-Wave devices working, but missing from the "Z-Wave details" UI

Hi folks,

I've got 8 devices, as of now, that are fully functioning (responding, used in automations, etc.) but are not listed in the "Z-Wave details" UI or graph. If I grab the JSON from ":8080/hub/zwaveDetails/json" the devices have display names (.zwDevices.displayName) but are not listed as nodes.

In a couple of cases, I included the devices, they appeared in the UI, and then they disappeared. I've shutdown the hub, removed power, etc. to see if they would reappear and they have not. In most cases, the same devices also show up in the SmartStart list with proper details - again, just not in the Z-Wave details.

I was thinking about plugging in my Z-Wave dongle and firing up the SiLabs software to poke around and see if anything about those devices jumps out. But, I'm not sure if/when I'll have the time. I'm hoping somebody can save me the trouble with an explanation.

A solution short of excluding and re-including would be great, too.

Edit: Six of the devices are some sort of plug/outlet, two are sensors (Temp & RH, Water Leak). All are included as long-range which explains not appearing in the graph, but not why they are missing from the JSON nodes list and details UI.

@bcopeland, is this a bug? I recall seeing this or a similar bug reported at some point in the past.

Yeah I have seen this in the past as well, but I don't think anyone dug deep enough to see they were partially listed in the JSON output. Good catch @ajs

Does anybody have thoughts on how to get these to reappear short of excluding and re-including?

@bcopeland Is there any other information that would be useful to collect?

I’ve had LR devices on my hub for a long time, and they never appear in the list. Doesn’t matter whether I exclude, reset, reinclude, etc. It’s just a permanent “feature”
