Yesterday after the 2.1.7.121 hub update I noticed all 45 of my Z-Wave devices stopped responding, although they still appear in Hubitat and the Z-Wave menu. I tried the full shutdown process twice (shutdown-unplug power for 60 seconds when red-restart) with no changes.
Both, no switch state changes from phone, computer or google home, they stay in the state that they were in when the update was applied and hub rebooted.
I utilise a mix of Zwave and Zigbee and am on Hubitat Elevation® Platform Version
2.1.7.121 so perhaps your issues are specific driver related.
My Zwave devices are Fibaro, Aeotec, NeoCoolCam and (rebadged) Zipato
I have a mix of 58 - Zigbee devices and 41 - Z-Wave devices, all Z-Wave seem to be unresponsive yet, still available in the system. My Z-wave devices are a mix of Zooz, GE, Dome, Kiddie and Aeon.
I rolled my Hubitat build back to version 2.1.6.118 with no changes (I also performed a shutdown after the rollback).
Doesn't sound like it was an issue with the firmware then. have you tried air gaping or turning off the circuit breaker to one of the switches that are near the hub momentarily to see if it comes back after a restart of the switch?
No, but it is very unlikely that 41 devices would go bad in the same 15 minutes when not having issues for 9 months. Also this happened within an hour of the 2.1.7.121 firmware update.

[/quote] True that, unless for some reason your Zwave radio is off or has gone bad
I ran the recent update (2.1.7.121) Wednesday, and yesterday (Thursday) I just got done installing a HomeSeer Dimmer and one of four of the new Inovelli (Red Series) dimmers just fine.
I was then trying to add the 2nd Inovelli dimmer but it kept failing to connect to my Z-Wave network, so I tried the 3rd dimmer and then 4th dimmer but all three failed to connect.
I was then finding that all my Z-Wave devices in our house had stopped working, Zigbee was working just fine. What I found when I open Hubitat > Setting > Z-Wave Details that I had no devices listed any more, the Z-Wave Radio crashed.
I then did a Rollback to (Platform Version 2.1.6.118), but after the reboot, there was still no devices listed, all 65 devices was gone. So I did a Restore that I did on 12/01/19, and all my devices was listed again.
Then today I reinstalled four ST water sensor that I installed on the 12/03, and was now able to install the HomeSeer dimmer as well as the four Inovelli dimmers too. Started a Z-Wave Network Repair at 11am and it finished around 5pm, then did a backup save.
No clue what the hell happen, but I was glad to get everything back so for with out any issues.
Not sure this is it but one of my zwave light switches went bonkers with a buzzing sound and messed up my whole zwave mesh and the hub was super sluggish. Threw it in bin and hub worked great and fast afterwards. Might make sure all zwave devices are behaving.
Update...after trying several z-wave repairs and shutdown cycles, some z-wave devices seem to be back, but many still are not, are there any tricks to helping them individually repair without re-adding them from scratch?
