I have read a lot of forum posts on HE and ST regarding Z-Wave locks not performing well. (yes it is the typical not responding well, but with a possible twist.)
I have 3 Yale YRD220's in my home. 1 of them is connected to my Main HE, and is approx. 6 ft away. It works well. Responds to the HE quickly, and the HE updates quickly when I manually lock/unlock the device.
The other 2 YRD220's are connected to my 2nd HE, and are approx 10-12 ft away. Both are having strange issues responding to HE requests to lock/unlock. I connected both with the HE about 2 ft away, and secure connected fine. However, sometimes it will take 20-40 seconds for the lock to respond to an HE command (unlock/lock), or sometimes not even responds. Sometimes the lock will perform the action within a couple of seconds. This seems to indicate some kind of communication issue on both locks. However, the twist, the device info within HE will update immediately when I manually lock or unlock the device. The change in status is almost instantaneous, which would make me thing it isn't a communication issue....
Thoughts?
I was searching to see if there might be a zigbee or z-wave+ module for the YRD220, but doesn't appear they make them for this lock. (only for the YRD226 it seems)
