I inherited a Yale x Nest (YRMTH1). But no Nest Connect. I have a C7. Does the Yale x Nest run Z-Wave? If so, can I directly include it on C7 hub?
I tried to press/hold the button on the Yale x Nest until it says "Ready. Use your Nest app to add to your Nest account". But I couldn't add it via Z-Wave Inclusion...
It looks like it’s marketed as a WiFi deadbolt.
I’d be very surprised if the communication between the deadbolt and the nest connect was plain old z-wave.
No harm in trying, but I wouldn’t expect anything to happen.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I couldn't add it...
I think you’re going to have to purchase a nest connect if you want to use that deadbolt.

How I understand things is the Nest Yale lock uses Thread to connect to the now unsupported Nest Secure to bridge to WiFi. To use WiFi now, that lock requires the Nest Connect device which may still be available. It can be controlled using the Nest App or maybe with Google Home. If that can integrate into hubitat, I don't know.
