XXK C04Z ZigBee 3.0 LED Strip Controller RGBW will pair

I was able to pair this C04Z controller, but I can't seem to get it to do anything.

does anyone have any idea, the Generic Zigbee RGBW drive does not seem to turn it on or off, let alone change the colors.

thank you

with a lot of poking I was able to get a Nue driver to turn it on and off, but I can't get any color control?

should I return this, is there something that is recommended?

I would recommend, as long as you're not able to code something by yourself, to return it. As a replacement, you could use the Fibaro FGRGBW-101, which has a native driver. Or just do a quick search on RGBW-Controllers at the forum. I bet, there are tons of controllers, you could use. Like, for example WLED, for individual addressable LED-Strips.

Ahh... that makes sence, I did not really research this and I should have. It was such a good deal too.. sigh..

thank's. returning.

Just to be sure, when you switched drivers did you hit "Configure"? If you did not, the new driver may not know how to control the device.

yes, I tried that a dozen times. the only driver that would turn on/off is the Nue driver, otherwise, I have no functions, no matter what, after I hit configure..

In that case either the device is defective, or needs a specific driver. The easiest thing to do at this point is to return it. Sorta surprised that it doesn't work, most of these Zigbee 3.0 devices seem to just work without much fuss.
