The simplest solution would be to add it to Home Assistant using the Xiaomi Air Purifier component, and then use HADB to bring it into Hubitat.

Thx, I do not have experience with HA. I tried but I can’t connect it to my router. The router just doesn’t show me the raspberry PI I installed HA on. Haven’t found anything helpful in the internet for now. It’s not very easy as a newcomer. But I think HA is probably the only way to go.
The other possible workaround is a simple on/off control using a virtual switch exposed to Alexa. There should be a MiHome skill in Alexa.

I didn't know there was a miio integration, thanks @aaiyar. Now I can retire the pi based miio interface I've had for years.
