I have a Xfinity Security Keypad. Under devices, preferences, there are an off/on options to verify pin to arm away, etc. What does this do?
On the Xfinity, you can set the system to Armed Away by pressing the "Away" button (the little guy running). Enabling this option requires you to enter a valid key code before the system will arm by pressing this button. When disabled, the system arms whenever the "Away" button is pressed.
Does that make sense?
