The 2245-222 is supposed to be able to support X10 to a limited extent. It has less memory than the old 2242-222 hub and from what I understand a bit more limited PLM, but it’s faster and less temperamental than the 2242 hub was.
For $20 it’s definitely worth a shot. The Hubitat community integration only works with the hubs, not the 2413U. The Home Assistant integration supports all of them, but as I mentioned, I’m not a fan of it for control. It’s great as a way to add devices and configure them (in fact I just enabled it temporarily this evening to create an Insteon scene), but it gets out of sync really fast in the testing I’ve done. Maybe you might have better luck with it.
If the Home Assistant Insteon integration works well for you, you can bring device entities from Home Assistant into Hubitat for automation using the Home Assistant Device Bridge Integration. It has just been re-designed to use significantly less hub resources than before. In fact, I may just give the Home Assistant Insteon integration a try again. It might have been the previous build of HADB that was causing the sync problems.
