Good news. I found the below and was thinking of trying it as well.

This works well. Been running it for a few years. If you have issues with some cameras (such as the Pan Gen1) make note of the firmware it has. I had to downgrade my pan to get it to work as they introduced some extra security that broke things.

I have all my cams feeding into BlueIris locally and still able to view them though the app. I then use BlueIris motion detection to send events to HE.

So, please bear with me on this. You did the RSTP firmware update to a Wyze V2 (presuming here), connected them via BlueIris, feed to HE (dashboard?? - how do you view them on HE?) but you can still access them on the Wyze app?

The solution above is not a firmware update. Its software you run on a desktop that will feed an rtsp stream directly from the Wyze camera locally.

The rest is feeding it into blue iris and then you can get mpeg streams and jpg images from BlueIris to display on dashboards.
