Would I use Rule Machine for this?

I want to setup an automation that I can connect to my Alexa (voice Activation).

By using a Virtual Switch which I create Lets Call it "Stereo Sirius 80's"

When the switch is turned on these are the steps I want done.

Turn on the Stereo
Switch Stereo to the correct source
Then Play the favorite from my Sonos player.

Then when I turn off the switch

Stop the Sonos Player
Turn off the Stereo.

I can't seem to find how to Switch the Stereo source and select the Sonos favorite within Rule Machine.

Seems like it would be easy.

How do you do this on the device detail page for the device? If it's possible from a command there, it's possible in Rule Machine. You may need to use the "Custom command" feature since some of the less common ones are not likely to be part of built-in Rule Machine actions, but as long as you have the right command name and parameters, you should be able to do it (if you need to use a custom action at all). Looking at the device detail page for what those are is the first step.

This may be easier to do with an Alexa routine. Google Search

i am not playing it on the Alexa device. Just using it for voice automation.

So I have the Run Machine doing running most of this, except running Favorite on the Sonos Player.

You didn't understand my Alexa routines comment. It has nothing to do with playing on an Amazon device. It would likely allow you to play your selection on your Sonos with an Alexa voice command. Worth exploring? If so investigate Alexa routines. Sonos can be controlled via Alexa and routines can be initiated with a Hubitat virtual switch.
