With Zwave LD chipset out now, I wondered if Kwikset or 3rd party manufactures will develop a module for it with the LD ZWave support.
We love our Kwikset smart lock. We have it with 2 ZWave Plus and 1 Zigbee modules but I would be awesome if a LD ZWave module comes out for it.
They never announce anything ahead of time.
They have a 700 series module that just passed certification. Obviously it does not have LR though at this time.
They have never released firmware updates to the public before either, so there is zero guarantee that they will upgrade this new 700 module to support LR.
They might, they might not. Wait 6+ months and find out.
