Wiz lights - should I static assign IP address?

I just now ran the wiz integration, I noticed that Hubitat pulled in the IP address as part of the name.

Should I put static / reserved IPs for all these lights ?

Didn't know I'd that makes things easier for hubitat?

Yes in general any integration that is using a device’s IP address will benefit if you can set things such that it won’t change. DHCP reservations are often the simplest way to do that.

I use reservations for all my devices.

I can control my Wiz light bulbs since they updated their app. The two bulls I have are set with a static IP. On the new app can't find a way to check or change the address

A lot of clicking...
Settings
Lights
Choose a light
Click on the 'v' symbol
Device info
Scroll down to the IP address. You can't set an address in the app.

Thanks, found the settings. On Hubitat in the Wiz app the bulbs show as connected, but I can't turn them on or off
