I just picked up 3 Wiz CT bulbs. I received the following errors in the Wiz integration.
The integration picked up the lights right away but pulled them over with odd names. I read a previous thread with similar issues but it seems to have died. The bulbs came over as:
When I control them from the Wiz app, the device state is reflected correctly in the device UI in Hubitat but I cannot control them from Hubitat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: According to Gemini, this is the issue and the fix:
To fix this Hubitat / SmartThings device handler error, you need to add a blank initialize() method to your Groovy driver script for WizColorTempLight.
The system or a parent app is attempting to automatically call initialize() when the device is installed, updated, or rebooted, but the method is missing from your code.
The Fix
Open your Groovy driver code for WizColorTempLight and add the following code wrapper alongside your other standard lifecycle methods (like installed() or updated()):
groovy
def initialize() {
log.debug "initialize() called"
// If your driver requires specific initialization logic, add it here.
// Often, calling updated() is standard practice:
// updated()
}
