Wiz Integration - Dimmable ST19 Bulb Just A Device Stub

After a few months, I've switched just about everything I can in our house over to being controlled by Hubitat (except 433MHz devices... for now). The only thing I can't seem to get to work is this Wiz ST19 bulb from Philips. There were a few hiccups getting some of the Wiz RGBW lights to work with the Google Home integration, but I managed to solve that.

The problem with the ST19 bulb is that it only seems to be recognized/supported as a Wiz Device Stub. I've tried changing it to other different device types (Wiz Dimmer, Wiz RGBW Light, Generic Component Dimmer) but none of them make it function. Set to Device Stub, the only command it has is Refresh, which doesn't appear to do anything. Current States properly shows networkStatus as on/offline, but nothing else.

Is there a way to make this light work with hubitat? Is it just not supported? Do other filament style Wiz lights work with Hubitat?

I'd just switch it to an A19 that I know will work, but this, and a few other light fixtures I haven't switched to smart lighting yet have exposed bulbs, so I want a bulb that's more attractive.

Thanks in advance!

@bcopeland Any ideas?

Wiz is not exactly my area .. I don’t own any of these.. But @gopher.ny might know.

Can you post the Data section of the device details page? It should look something like this:

Thanks for replying!

Something strange happened and the light works now.

I took a screenshot of the device details as requested:
Device Stub

Here's the log too if that's helpful:

In the past, when I switched the type to Wiz RGBW Light and pressed commands, more info would show up but the light and values wouldn't change. I did this dozens of times in the past with the same result--no control over the light.

However, today, for whatever reason, after switching it to RGBW Light, hubitat is controlling the light. The logs are no longer showing anything and the device info looks like this:

Unfortunately, I'm having the same issue I had with other Wiz lights: Hubitat is controlling them, but I can't get the Google Home app to recognize it as a compatible product. I'll give an update on how that goes shortly as I'm worried it will cause this light to no longer be controlled by Hubitat, and I'm not sure why all of a sudden it started working. The solution for Wiz lights not integrating with the Google Home app seems to be how they're added--I had to go through a process of deleting/resetting and reinstalling lights on Wiz and using the option to 'Manually' add them to get them to work.

You can always make a virtual switch to turn it on then expose that to google.

I figured out what suddenly made the ST19 bulb work... you have to hit the "Next Scene" command.

I deleted the bulb from everything (even went so far as to delete its DHCP lease on my router) then re-added it. After Wiz Integration discovery was complete, just like before it was added as a Wiz Device Stub.

Then I changed the device type to Wiz RGBW Light. I tried hitting Off and On, but it wouldn't work. So, just like earlier when I was trying to populate the Current States info, I started pressing each command, starting with Next Scene. For some reason, the ST19 bulb won't function through Hubitat unless you hit the Next Scene command.

Now on to seeing if I can get the Google Home integration app to recognize it...

Noted, thanks. Interestingly, I think you've answered a question I haven't dove into yet that's way off topic, but...

I have some lights that I'd like to join into one for google to control, and some lights I'd like to exclude from certain circumstances. That is... sometimes in my Kitchen, I'd like the ability to turn the four lights in the chandelier off with one command; or in my living room, I'd like to shut off all the lights except a couple small 'night light' kinda ambience lights.

Sounds like I could probably set up virtual switches to control the appropriate lighting?

Yeah, just use Room Lighting to group them with a virtual switch as the activator and then expose that to google.
