It's that time of the year for Wirecutter to dismiss anything that runs local (ok they did nominate Phillips Hue) for light bulbs.

I didn't read the article, but credibility was already lost by recommending Wyze. I found their products to be like junk food - cheap, only briefly satisfying, and then I am sick of it.
