Anyone know of any solid Door/Window Sensors that come in black for Hubitat? I have black windows and don't really want a white sensor attached.
Thank you!

Would painting the sensor be an option?
If there really were no other options, but rather not. That never looks the greatest.
Depends on the skill level of the person doing it. I've seen spray painted contact sensors that looked really good. There's been examples posted by others here. Here's one that I found a while back, where they took the sensor apart, sprayed the plastic and then put it all together again.
lots of color options… including black. Only company i know of who does color options for sensors.

Have you considered some kind of recessed sensor? Can't say I have even looked at them myself, apart from seeing one or two YT clips.
@sidjohn1 Thank you!
But does not look like they are readily available....search continues.
If youre in the US and you REALLY want black, you will need to go through the distributor to get them… same if you want leviton outlets in black. You can get the white version on amazon, but you will have to EARN any other color. I went through the process cause i REALLY wanted lite almond.
All my door/window sensors are recessed or sensative strips now cause they are much easier to find.
Thanks, I will check out those strips. That would work if it can be hidden in the frame. Even better then having something attached to the window!
I have Iris V2 that i had painted black a few years ago, just using a spray can and they turned out great.
Just do a light spray, wait 15mins and do another layer, and repeating unti its covered. I think it was 4 sprays i did. And then let it sit for a few days before touching to let it dry completely (or you might get fingerprints)
