That's what my Aqara 6 button switch was asking the HE hub and the hub said "no way", like 6 times. So I thought I'd try the join method where first selecting the manufacturer and then the specific device from that manufacturer..and the device paired instantly.
My question is anything different being done between those 2 join "methods", I suspect not but I know @mike.maxwell and of course the entire HE team, are very innovative.
