Will I have issues if I power on the C7 that I migrated off of

I have migrated to the C8 PRO, and would like to reset the C7 so I can sell it. The Question is do I need to go elsewhere to login and reset it, or if I do it where the C8Pro is with all the same devices will there be issues? I was going to hard reset it, so it's ready for the next person. Thoughts?

Just make sure it isn’t on for very long. You can disable the Z* radios to be sure. I usually do this as soon as I do the transfer.

I just did this on one of my hubs, and it did interact with my web (RM4) devices while it was on, but only until I reset it.

Why not just power down the C8 Pro for the few minutes it takes to boot the C7 and perform a full reset?

Also, do make sure you cancel active subscriptions on the C7 if any, before you sell it.

i power my backup c8 (with antennaes unscrewed to boot) up periodically to restore the backed up c8 pro.. i do put it in a faraday cage box when i do it.. i still occasionally even upstairs away from the main hub have had a few zigbee devices drop off after doing this and need to be rejoined in place. i do this as house is empty and if hub completely dies while we are gone i can have the neighbor swap in the backup hub.

Make sure you have transferred any subscriptions off that hub to the new hub. Remote admin applies to all hubs on your account but it attached to a single hub.

Then I would just boot it up and go right for the full reset in diagnostics. Having the radios up for a short time should not cause any issues.

Do not disable the radios, I found in the past that messes with the reset process.

Thanks Much, I followed the suggestion of shutting down the C8Pro then booting up the C7 and wiping it. All worked well. Thanks again!
