I got a power monitoring plug for my washing machine but it’s not quite as smooth as I expected I guess.
I had forgotten about this sensor, which when I was looking before was very hard to come by
both my washing machine and dryer have a lit up “done” led. Couldn’t I place this over that spot and it would effectively work “flawlessly”?
Even they provide a number of example uses - but whenever I hear about randomly automating dumb appliances nobody talks about this device?
Would it not work in my application? Is it not that good overall? It’s also very cheap, at least in the USA! And for whatever reason it would seem nobody else has a replicated/alternative version?
