Why is the LED on the C-8 hub alternating between green and red?

I shutdown my C-8 and pulled the power. when trying to boot I am getting alternating led colors green and red. What's wrong?

I think that indicates there is no connection between the hub and the switch it's plugged into. Check your network cable.

Thanks, after unplugging and plunging the network cable resolved it.
