Fastest my hub has ever been

Since updating yesterday, my Hub Watchdog results as well as my perception of the automations, is showing that my hubs are running faster than they ever have. I know some are having difficulty with the update, but once it is sorted out it may be worth the aggravation if you see the same improvement. Kudos to the staff that has been working hard to make this happen!

They reduced the events per device from 1000 to 100. Thus making db signifigantly smaller.

This latest firmware release reduced the number of events per attribute, per device from 1000 to 100. This explains the DB Backup size reduction.

Right, per attribute. If a device has 5 attributes it saves 100 of each attribute, not just 100 for the whole device.

Minor difference, but while we are on the topic I figured more details are better than less.
