Why does Z-Wave repair only attempt repair on some nodes?

As others have noted, my C-8 hub z-wave is very temperamental. I have a ghost node that I’ve been trying to get rid of with a remove, repair, etc. Have even shut down, disconnected power for a few minutes, and performed an immediate repair after reboot. I know I have the option of getting a separate dongle to remove ghost devices, but I think it’s silly that is the only solution in some cases.

But, why I’m really writing this post is that when I do a repair, it only cycles through attempted repair of 20 devices as shown, but I have over 51 devices. For some reason, no matter what I do I can’t get it to do a repair on more than these 20 devices, which I assume is all of Group 1 and not attempting other groups.

Anyone have any idea what is going on or how to fix it? I do have a C-8 pro with which I’m planning to replace this C-8, so maybe this problem will go away, but I’m afraid I’m just going to end up moving a bad z-wave configuration to the new hub. I have so many intermittent z-wave problems, it may be time to go nuclear and reset/rebuild the whole thing.

How many of those devices are battery vs. mains powered? Battery devices tend to be sleepy, i.e. don’t have an immediate feedback to requests (they are more “send” than “respond”).

Most of my z-wave devices are mains-powered (all my wall light switchers/dimmers are z-wave), including most of them that aren’t included in the repair. If I watch the repair happening, they never get included, i.e., “repair is pinging the node” never happens for them.
