Why does mode manager think I'm still away?

My mode manager usage is pretty simple. It seems to have been working until a couple of days ago. Basically sunrise - sunset is day, sunset - sunrise is night, and I use a combined presence sensor to set an away mode. I've had it set this way for several weeks. You can ignore the vacation mode, it's not currently used at all.

We went camping this weekend and when we returned yesterday, I noticed some of the rules that should be firing during night mode were not. I checked, and it's because the mode is still away. Both presence sensors show as having arrived. Unfortunately, I realized that I had logging turned off. It's now on, but that doesn't help at the moment.

I didn't think to check System Events. Here is an entry from 10/1 where it worked just fine. I was at work, my wife left to go somewhere, and then came back.

It changed to away mode, but then there is nothing in the system events except for setting the sunrise and sunset time each day, until I manually changed the mode to night about 10 minutes ago.
