I have a leaksmart valve working on a Hubitat and I'm wanting to get some new sensors that aren't $70 a pop like the leaksmart ones are. Does anyone know of any compatible sensors I can use? Thanks!
The list of compatible devices has several z-wave and zigbee water/moisture sensors.
I use Aeotec DSB45 z-wave water sensors with a LeakSmart valve. They aren't on the compatibility list, but work just fine.

Yes, because the sensors aren't directly paired to the valve.
Automations to close the valve are done through Hubitat Safety Monitor or Rule Machine.

Oh, awesome! For some reason I was thinking they had to work cohesively together, but it makes sense that they just have to work through Hubitat and Hubitat acts almost like an IFTTT. Thanks so much for your help! So glad I found this community forum.

These work well and are cheap, and also detect water on the top side and bottom side. 16.99 right now

Just bought 9 more of the smartthings water leak sensors earlier this month. I now have them under the fridge water line, under all sinks, under the washer water lines, basement drains, water heater and near a window.
The few I already had in place saved me earlier in the summer as they alerted me to a hose left on that had flooded and started leaking in the basement. Fortunately it was a small mess as my Hubitat alerted me to the issue and awoke me.
