This is from January and my most recent automation.
The Fingerbot actuates the remote for my car. I have one for each vehicle.
At 2200, a rule runs that locks both vehicles. This way I don’t have to guess whether they are locked.
I bought some used keys, gutted them for the remotes and programmed them. My wife’s RAV4 was easy but my Avalon required Toyota Techstream software and a laptop,

Not too divert from my original question but doesn't Viper have automated start from an app?
I know remote start is available on new vehicles. Mine are 2009 and 2010.
