I'd like to notify and maybe shutdown/power cycle the hub in case of a Z-Wave outage,
I already have things set up for a Z-Wave crash...I think it's a Location Event..., but sometimes Z-Wave can go down with no indication at all, except things don't work.
I'm thinking I could turn on a couple, three switches every half hour, or whatever, and if none of them respond, that would do it. Maybe only one switch, near the hub, several times.
Maybe I could use the Christmas lights plugs-if they went on and off, it could be considered part of a 'display', lol. Most of the year they're unused.
Could there be another, maybe more elegant, less intrusive way to test for Z-Wave operability?
