What happens when you run out of device ID's on the Z-Wave network? Does it start over and fill in the gaps?

Is the two digit hex a limiter for devices? (Not saying I have that many, but one can dream right?)
I think some node numbers are reserved for special functions so its slightly less than the full two-hex digits (255). A quick google search indicated its 232.

232 is the limit I was just wondering since I'm getting close to the end.
Okay, I thought I had seen somewhere that it was direct nodes only were limited. (Maybe I am crossing Zigbee and Zwave in my head.... Looooong day already LOL)
