What Fixture To Get Above Murphy Door

We have a Murphy door that looks like a bookshelf and I want to put a light above it. The problem is, I have no outlet or power source. All the battery operated lights I’ve found have an integrated LED and not sure how to make those “smart”.

I would love some product recommendations. Also, is it possible to convert a wall sconce or picture light to be battery operated (like with a power bank or batteries)? I’ve converted a wall sconce to a plug-in, but never tried battery powered.

It’s unclear how much light you are seeking. However, one solution that will give you some light is a USB light, plugged into one of these:

Which is in turn plugged into a USB power bank. You will, of course, have to recharge the power bank periodically, and the whole combination might look rather ugly.

Literally one light bulb lol. I’ll keep this mind. There’s space behind the door I can attach things to. I can hook up the power bank behind it.

I’m guessing something like this USB picture light + the SonOff USB plug + a power bank would work?

If you can’t find a rechargeable USB light solution, this battery eliminator can replace from one to four AA batteries:
