What can stop a ZWave device operating

I have two ZWave plugs, both pretty close to each other that often stop responding.
What could cause interference with zwave or block the signal?

They are near a TV/Alexa/Wifi AP and a Harmony Hub so a pretty busy area

Z-Wave interference is rare. Unless you put the device in a metal box, you're unlikely to run into interference issues. Most common problem with unresponsive devices is caused by faulty hardware or not strong enough mesh. How far is the hub in relation to these 2 devices? Do you have enough repeaters to support them if there are lots of obstacles between the devices and the hub?

I thought that wifi would have more of an impact on zigbee. Maybe you could look at the routing. Do repairs, try to get them to communicate direct to the hub. Where is the hub in relation to the plugs?

That was my thought process too...

The hub is the other side of a brick wall to the plugs, other plugs in the same room work fine expect for these two near the equipment listed. Last week I swapped the plugs out so that they were freshly paired and they no longer work again.

How about the hub antennae? Are they vertical? Maybe reorient the hub, like 90 degrees, if it's easy to do. Have you looked at the z-wave details page for routing, last communications etc? If you have a C8, and feel like spending a little money, you could try a Long Range plug and see what happens.

I have changed the orientation of the hub, I have a C4, with the Z wave connected directly - I could look at an extender cable for that to move it further.

What brand/model are these problematic plugs?

They are both TKB tz68e which would perfect everywhere else in the house.
I'll swap it with a different brand to see if that makes a difference, good shout!

Does the harmony hub they are near use the ~900Mhz spectrum at all? That's what would interfere with Z-Wave.

Also, if that was it, I would just expect occasional issues, not total failure to reach the hub.
