This makes twice in maybe 6 months that I've seen this. Pretty sure its not that hot in here! Anyone have any ideas?
I've seen many such reports on r/ecobee - so it makes me think the errant reporting is on ecobee's side.
There have been many problems today with Ecobee services. My ECO+ went haywire and wouldn't circulate air in my home to balance out the rooms. Happened about 6:30 am Central time for me. Also their app kept bouncing between screens for settings and I had a few bad API lookups from the device in Hubitat.
I have a Bryant Housewise thermostat (yes, it is an Ecobee at heart, HE even integrates using the Ecobee app). Four times in the last week it indicated 81 degrees in my house when it was actually in the low 70's. Resetting it by cycling the furnace got it working.
That's the Bryant version of the Carrier Cor - another ecobee at heart.
When I got home and checked my HE Ecobee App it was disconnected. Logged back in and all is well. Iām thinking an Ecobee Cloud Issue.
