After Migrating from my C8 to a new C8-Pro, my existing webCoRE Presence Devices are no longer working. I can create new webCoRE presence devices via the app on our 2x iPhones, but I would then need to manually recreate all of the 'In Use By' connections (there are quite a few) on the new devices, kill all of the old ones, then delete the old devices. Is there an easier way - like perhaps creating the new devices and copying their 'Device Network Ids' to the old devices?
If that's not clear, let me know.
How about 'swap device' under the settings menu.
Would that do the job for you?

Thanks for the suggestion. So, after creating new presence sensor devicess with new names (i.e., [Name1New] and [Name2New]) via the webCoRE app on each phone, I run the swap device tool for each device, delete the old presence sensor device, then rename the new device sensors to the old names [Name1] and [Name2], because they are our first names and I'd like to get back to those names. Hmmmm. That might work!
I'll let you know.
I tend to rename the old devices first.
Something like "Phone-MineOLD".
Then create the new device using "Phone-Mine".
I then run Swap Device and it helps me identify easily which one is the new one.

Thanks for the suggestion again.
Right now, webCoRE isn't showing me the 'Add' choice for a new presence device. It did last night. I'll solve that first, obviously, and then on to moving the links over using the swap devices as you suggested.
I do need to get this all fixed because I use webCoRE Presence extensively for Location Modes (Home, Present, Away, Vacation), temperature adjustments, arrival lights, dashboard changes, etc.
All of that may need to wait a bit now since it's playoff day for the Buffalo Bills and we're getting ready for a viewing party in our theater.

Sorry that I've been missing for a while on this. As I mentioned in my last post here, webCoRE isn't showing me the 'Add' choice for a new presence device, and webCoRE Presence is no longer connected to the iPhones they were connected to before I upgraded my hub AND the webCoRE iPhone app no longer exists for download. I am - or I was, using webCoRE Presence extensively for presence (am I home), how far away from home, etc and I'm using it in 15 pistons. So, switching to something else will be time-consuming.
I guess I'll start looking into Owntracks.
I've marked my issue solved, with your answer being the solution because it properly answers my original question. As it turns out, I had bigger issues that my original question did not cover, but nevertheless, your answer was correct. So, Thank you!
