That said, and these particular items aside...;
Does it seem to anybody else that whenever you search for some "less common but cool if you had it" device for Home Automation like the subject Zigbee pressure sensor, that indeed you can often find somewhat relevant product referenced in/on the Alibaba/Chinese market.
Now it might not always be a real product, or one that you'd want to set a high level of dependence on....but just the same, you at least hit on something that hints towards addressing the use case.
Have they mastered the ability to catch shopper eyes with any ole thing that smells like what you are looking for, OR, are they actually thinking a lot more broadly about this market and rushing to push product out across A LOT of functional uses. OR....are they a lot less fussy about Quality Control and will just throw something out there (again and again) to see if it sticks and deal with the issues later.
Let's not derail this thread. @rlithgow1 's posting those just made me think about how often I too get results like this and think....WOW....why aren't these being made & marketed in/by EU & NA home automation manufacturers.
