VideoCapture and VideoCamera capabilities

To the best of my knowledge Hubitat doesn't have any embedded video capability. However, I see capabilities for VideoCamera and VideoCapture. What are they and what are the difference? The VideoCapture seems confusing since the command just says:

capture(DATE, DATE, DATE)
DATE (DATE) - DATE
DATE (DATE) - DATE
DATE (DATE) - DATE

What are the dates?

What I'm trying to do is, if my alarm system trips, set my Ring cameras to record so I figured one of these capabilities would come in handy.

@mike.maxwell hate to be a pest but any chance there is a description of what the difference is between these two capabilities is? I'd love to add the record functionality to my Ring integration but I'm not really sure which way to go and the capability documentation is a bit light.

personally, I have no idea, never used it, we modeled it as a compatibility feature with another platform...

Is there any possibility that future editions of HE will include video capabilities?
After all, it is a very common part of many Home Automation setups.
