I have added a Venstar Explorer T3900 thermostat with a z-wave module to my Hubitat Elevation. It joined the z-wave network with no problems and HE reported the following fingerprint:

While HE didn't automatically assign a driver, I am using the Generic Z-Wave Thermostat driver. Even though this thermostat is not listed in the Hubitat docs as a compatible thermostat, everything seems to be working fine.
Is there a procedure for verifying compatibility that I can do at home? If so, I am willing to try both for my own benefit and for the benefit of others that may be considering buying one.
Has someone else tried a similar Venstar thermostat with the z-wave module and can confirm how compatible it is with Hubitat Elevation?
