Several months ago I purchase two Orien matter bulbs and used Google Home on my Android phone to commission both bulbs. I then used the paring values to pair with my C8. The process was clunky but everything worked and I was happy. I recently purchased two more Orien bulbs. However, when I tried to use Google Home to commission the bulbs, it displayed a message that a Google Hub was required and bombed out of the set up process. I then tried Alexa with the same results. Am I doing something wrong? Have the big boys gotten smart? Is Hubitat going to add commissioning capability? Is there another app that can be used?
I am new to Matter and I apologize if my questions have already been asked.
