The option to enable is clear, but just wondering if there’s a reason matter is disabled by default when upgrading?
I don’t have any matter devices, yet… but just wondering
Enabling it does use up a fair amount of memory, so it is probably best left off if not in use.

It uses more hub resources than Z-Wave and Zigbee being enabled, I assume because it is all done with software and not a specialized hardware radio chip. So having it off by default is the best way to have it setup.
