Looking for help or advice on updating the firmware on Zooz Zen 17 relay. Using device firmware updater in z-wave settings. I start the update but never make any progress. It will stay at 0% progress and show "Device Firmware Updater: Getting Device Versions."
Having similar problem updating firmware on Zen71 switches. They at least make progress and get to 1% but nothing after that.
I realize the updates can take some time but I've aborted the process after an hour and no progress.
I haven't tried using the updater in the zwave settings so not sure how well it works. I believe it is supposed to work the same or better than the driver way below. But if you look at the zooz page How to Perform an OTA Firmware Update on Zooz Devices it still points you to z-wave-firmware-updater. Might want to give that a try.
Also for anyone reading that may know, I was able to get the Zen17 updated by pressing the button on it to "wake" it up even though its mains powered. However now trying to update firmware through this process on Zen71 switches it keeps telling me to wake up the sleepy device. Any idea how to wake it up?
