Updated to ZWaveJS. No ZWave firmware update button

I have a C-8 Pro. I just updated to 2.144.132. Thereafter I updated to ZWaveJS.

My understanding is that I should update the ZWave firmware to 7.22 or later. However, I am not being presented an option to update my ZWave firmware. I am still on 7.18. There is no button in ZWave Details to update firmware. I am not doing this on a phone or table, but on a laptop. I have tried multiple browsers.

I have tried a full hub shutdown, and power cycle.

I just noticed the release notes for 2.144.132:

“Removed Z-Wave Firmware Update”

Am I going to experience any issues being on 7.18 while using ZWaveJS?

I believe the z wave firmware only got removed for the C8 but not the C8 Pro

No (not from the zwave firmware anyway)

Originally, then it got pulled for both.

Oh dear! I wasn't aware of that.

If you were one of the many (including everyone in alpha and beta testing, and all but two users in the initial general release) who successfully applied the update before it was pulled, you're fine. It's a (rare) problem that appears during the FW update, not a problem running the FW once it's installed.

Yeah I'm on 2.4.4.129 which has the update available for the C8. I'm not planning on hitting that self destruct button....for now

Hardly that, LOL, but yeah, it's a very low risk but high cost issue. :slight_smile: Hence HE pulling it immediately after just two cases.

I am one of those two users. Not a fun day.
I still can’t believe how quickly HE staff reacted to it.
